Abstract

In this paper, the approach in which KANE equation is combined with finite element method is used to derive the dynamic equation of elastic plane linkage. In these equations, arbitrary external forces acted on the linkages, distributive moment of inertia, lumped masses and concertrated moments of inertia set on arbitrary position of the linkage, higher order acceleration, shear, axial force, lengthwise and crosswise bend and rotating matrix are considered.
