The combined effect of a radial pressure load and a centrifugal field on the vibrations of an inextensible, circular, slender ring structure is treated. First, the stationary pre-buckling state of the segment or the full ring is specified. Then small oscillations about this configuration are investigated. The variations of vibration frequencies with the pressure load and the speed rate are examined and possible buckling loads are determined.
