In the present study, organic Rankine cycle uses an HCCI (Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition) engine exhaust gas as high-temperature reservoir. The working fluids under investigation are refrigerant and benzene-series. Four non-flammable refrigerants: R141b, R123, R245ca, R245fa have been compared under different engine speed and turbine inlet pressures. R141b shows the best performance. In the mean time, R141b has also been compared with toluene under the same engine working condition.
