In this paper, exergetic, thermoeconomic and improved combined pinch and exergy analyses have been performed for a 160-MW a 160-MW combined cycle power plant. The simulation of this plant has been performed in GT PRO simulator. An Excel Add-in called GT PRO Link has been developed to calculate the exergy of each stream from a GT PRO simulation results. Meanwhile, computer code has been developed for thermoeconomic and improved combined pinch-exergy analysis in Matlab environment.
