Abstract
A simple-cycle, single-shaft, gas-turbine power plant has been tested with adjustable compressor-stator blading to investigate this method of reducing idle fuel flow. This paper discusses the factors affecting idle fuel flow, and presents results of power-plant tests with several stator geometries.
