where $μ$ is the kinematic viscosity with unit $kg m−1 s−1$ (see Nomenclature), and $a$ is the fluid thermal diffusivity (m² s⁻¹). Therefore, in the original manuscript by Lin et al. [1], the Marangoni number is presented as a number with unit, instead of a dimensionless number. After a communication with the authors, they responded that the correct unit of $μ$ is m² s⁻¹, and therefore, the Marangoni number is correct.
